Embossing & Foil Stamping
Embossing is the processes of creating raised relief images and designs in paper and other materials. The procedure requires the use of two dies: one that is raised and one that is recessed. The dies fit into each other so that when the paper is pressed between them, the raised die forces the stock into the recessed die and creates the embossed impression
Embossed LabelsEmbossing adds an eye-catching dimension to your labels, and often includes a nice tactile aspect as well. Embossing is frequently combined with foil or used in areas of your label with printed art or text. As with spot varnishes, applying special treatments or finishing options to targeted design elements creates an instant point of interest on your labels. Embossing is great for a variety of products and applications, including wine labels, specialty food labels and even health and beauty labels.
Foil Stamping (Hot stamping)Hot stamping or Foil stamping is a process of using heat and pressure to apply metallic foil to materials. Typically the foil is gold or silver, but nearly any color is available, metallic or non-metallic. The process is used on a wide range of products to create decorative finishes. Research shows that by adding gold foil printing or other interesting effects to your piece, consumers perceive a higher value and quality of your product.
